Italian Chicken Breast
I've been ordering the Italian Chicken Breast with rice, carrots and squash for nearly 30 years, despite a few name changes. It is my go to meal and never disappoints. All items are tender and tasty! Love the option for rolls and cornbread, too. Topped off with raspberry iced tea. Love the blackberry cobbler on Friday nights.
Pot Roast
I regularly have roast beef & squash. It is so good & tender. Their sweet tea is super good too. We've been eating here for 24 years.
Grilled Tilapia
Delicious, large portions, with black eyed peas and and fried okra 👌
Fried String Beans
Great restaurant, visited United States last month and a friend suggested me to this restaurant, he said the food would make me feel like in Africa and im very glad it did, I'm back in Uganda now but ill be going there everytime i visit USA, thank you so much for the mean ????
Chicken Fried Steak
Was looking for a place that would deliver home cooked food for my birthday 7/2 as I'm stuck in bed with broken toes on both of my feet and came across The String Bean. I was NOT disappointed. The chicken fried steak was delicious. It didn't fall apart and the breading didn't fall off. The fried okra was the same way. I could definitely taste cheddar in macaroni and cheese. I will definitely be coming back!
Meat Loaf
I've been going to String Bean since they took over Alfie's back in the 70's. I've never been disappointed.
